Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the EventApp app and website (the “Service”), operated by Matthijs van der Linden. By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your account
You sign in with Apple or with your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose,
- attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service,
- scrape, copy, or redistribute content at scale without permission,
- misuse other users’ information.
4. Event information
EventApp aggregates and displays information about events, venues, and organisations, much of it gathered from public sources. We do not organise these events and we cannot guarantee that listings are accurate, complete, or up to date. Always confirm details (dates, prices, age limits, cancellations) with the venue or organiser before relying on them.
5. Your content
Lists and other content you create remain yours. By creating content you let us store and display it as needed to provide the Service — for example, showing a list you have chosen to share via its link.
6. Intellectual property
The Service itself — its software, design, and branding — belongs to Matthijs van der Linden and is protected by applicable law. These terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or to third-party content shown in the app.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or to protect the Service and its users.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the information shown is accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Matthijs van der Linden is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss arising from reliance on event information.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page; continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.
